Filtering Leads on the Map

The map can show every carrier in your pipeline, or just the ones that match a specific badge. Filter buttons above the map narrow the view to Hot Leads, High Value, New Entrants, At Risk, or HAZMAT only — useful for everything from drop-in route planning to focused outreach days.

The Filter Buttons #

A row of filter buttons sits between the stats row and the facility selector. They're mutually exclusive — exactly one is active at any time:
All

Default view. Every lead in your pipeline appears on the map.

Hot Leads

Carriers approaching their FMCSA audit deadline. Highest-priority outreach.

High Value

Driver-to-truck ratio of 1.5x or higher. Volume opportunity.

New Entrants

Authority granted in the last 18 months. Still establishing operations.

At Risk

Conditional safety rating. Compliance crisis = strong outreach moment.

HAZMAT

Authorized for hazardous materials. Drivers need endorsement-tier physicals.

HAZMAT button is conditional

The HAZMAT filter button only shows if you have at least one HAZMAT-authorized carrier in your pipeline. If no carriers in your lists are HAZMAT-tagged, the button is hidden — no point showing a filter that returns zero results.

How Filtering Affects the Map #

Filtering doesn't just hide non-matching markers — it also recomputes the cluster counts:
Cluster sidebar respects the filter

If you click a cluster while a filter is active, the sidebar shows only the carriers matching the filter — not every lead in that cluster.

Filter Persistence #

Filtering Strategies #

For drop-in days

Filter to All, then visually scan the 5-mile ring for clusters. The geographic concentration matters more than badge type for an in-person visit.

For high-priority outreach blitzes

Filter to Hot Leads first. These carriers have an audit deadline ticking, which is the strongest pull factor for adopting a new clinic.

For high-revenue prospecting

Filter to High Value. Carriers with high utilization ratios are usually still hiring and turning over drivers — both translate into recurring physicals.

For territory expansion

Filter to New Entrants with the 30-mile ring turned on. New entrants outside your usual range are willing to drive farther to find a clinic that'll work with them.

For HAZMAT specialists

Filter to HAZMAT. These carriers pay premium rates and need endorsement-tier exams — specialized outreach is worth the extra effort.

Current Limitations #

Single filter at a time

The current map filter row supports one filter at a time — you can't see Hot Leads and HAZMAT simultaneously. For multi-criterion filtering, use the pipeline list (with its advanced filter UI) and then come back to the map.
