Add your clinic address so distance calculations, map features, and territory views work correctly.
Why Your Clinic Location Matters #
Your clinic address is the anchor point for the entire platform. Without it, DOT Lead Scout can’t calculate how far each carrier is from your practice — and distance is one of the strongest predictors of whether a carrier will become a recurring client.
Sort leads by how far they are from your clinic. Closest carriers first.
See 5, 15, and 30-mile rings centered on your clinic in Map View.
Proximity boosts a lead's quality score — closer carriers score higher.
How to Add Your Clinic #
Creating a DOT Lead Scout account takes less than two minutes. No credit card is required to start your free trial.
Adding Multiple Clinics #
If you operate from more than one location, you can add each clinic separately. This is useful for practices that serve different geographic areas or providers who travel between offices.
Each clinic is saved with its own address and coordinates. Your primary clinic is used for default distance calculations in lead lists and the kanban pipeline. You can switch which clinic is primary at any time.
The number of clinics you can add depends on your plan. All plans support at least one clinic. If you need additional clinic slots, check your plan details on the My Plan page.
Editing or Removing a Clinic #
To update a clinic’s address, navigate to My Profile → Clinic Locations and click the edit button on the clinic card. You can change any field and save. The location will be re-geocoded automatically if the address changes.
To remove a clinic, click the delete button on the clinic card. If you delete your primary clinic, you’ll need to set another location as primary for distance features to continue working.
If you don't have any clinic locations saved, lead distance calculations and map radius rings won't be available. We strongly recommend adding at least one clinic before creating lead lists.
