Dashboard Overview

All Plans

The Dashboard is the first thing you see when you log in to DOT Lead Scout. It's designed as a daily command center: a quick greeting, your most important numbers, the leads you should contact today, and any reminders or recent activity worth knowing about. Every paid plan unlocks more of the dashboard's widgets, but the layout stays the same.

The Greeting Banner #

The dark banner at the top of the dashboard greets you by first name and shows today's date. The greeting itself is time-aware:
Time of dayGreeting
Before 12:00 PMGood morning, [name].
12:00 PM – 5:00 PMGood afternoon, [name].
After 5:00 PMGood evening, [name].
Below the greeting is your KPI strip — a row of clickable summary numbers. Each KPI links to a pre-filtered view of your pipeline:
Streak counter on the right

If you've added at least one note in the last 24 hours, a day streak counter appears in the top-right of the banner with a fire emoji. The streak is calculated from distinct days of pipeline activity. See 6.6 Activity Feed & Streak Tracking for the details.

Opportunity Radar #

Below the greeting is a row of radar cards that summarize the highest-priority leads in your pipeline. Each card shows a count and links to a pre-filtered list. The cards are:
Cards your plan doesn't include show as locked with an "upgrade" hint. See 6.3 Opportunity Signals for the full breakdown of what each card means.

Daily Contact Queue #

The big card in the middle of the dashboard is your daily "Contact These 5 Today" queue. Five leads, scored by opportunity, refreshed every day. Engage+ users see a fully-scored queue; trial users get the same UI with up to 3 unlock credits. See 6.2 Daily Action Plan for the full scoring rules and how to work the queue.

Change Signals Widget #

If you're on Engage+, a Change Signals section appears under the daily queue. It surfaces carriers whose FMCSA records changed in the last 7 days — adding drivers, reactivating, growing their fleet, etc. Each signal links back to the pipeline filtered by that signal type. See 6.4 Change Signals for the full classification.

Two-Column Layout: Activity & Reminders #

Below the change signals, the dashboard splits into two columns:
Recent Activity

The last 6 notes you've added across all leads — calls, emails, drop-ins. Click any item to jump to that lead.

Upcoming Reminders

The next 5 pending reminders sorted by scheduled time. Overdue reminders are flagged in orange.

Reminders are Engage+ only

Trial and Scout users see an upgrade nudge in place of the reminders panel. Recent Activity is visible on every plan that supports notes (Engage+).

Pipeline Status Bar #

Engage+ users also see a pipeline summary bar showing the relative size of each pipeline stage. Each colored segment is clickable and filters the pipeline to that stage. It's a fast way to spot bottlenecks — for example, a huge "Connected" segment with a tiny "Qualified" segment usually means follow-ups are slipping.
